While we are strong supporters of privacy and freedom-of-speech, we still have some basic rules to avoid legal trouble and to be a friendly neighbor towards other communities.
Any abuse complaints, law enforcement queries and so on should go to abuse@freedombits.org. We don’t respond to law enforcement queries from foreign countries.
Forbidden Activities
- Do not upload or host any content that would be considered illegal in the United States of America, Romania or Finland.
- Do not upload or host any content that depicts minors in a sexualized manner. This rule also includes fictional depictions of such content, such as lolicon/shotacon.
- Do not utilize our services to commit script kiddie activities (spam, port scanning, DDoS attacks, hosting malware and botnet C2C’s and so on).
- Do not violate the NAP (Non-Aggression Principle). This includes using our services to cause harm to infrastructure controlled by others, such as by the methods listed above.
The Butthurt Clause
We are free speech absolutists, and we strongly believe that censorship of any ideas, extremist or not, makes them thrive in their tiny little echochambers, where the full face of their ideas is not exposed to mainstream society as a whole, and people who do not have the literacy to understand all of the stupidity will fall for them through the “milder” image presented to mainstream society.
TL;DR: We won’t censor any legal speech, whether it offends someone or not. Do not complain, we do not care and if you still do, you will be laughed at. The best way to achieve societal change is through the free flow of information, allowing both sides to express their true selves in an uncensored manner.
